Hendrix Genetics recently opened a new US$18.5 million hatchery in Grand Island, Nebraska, on 20 acres in Platte Valley Industrial Park.  Jamesway was the supplier of the incubation, hatching and ventilation equipment.

The layer chick hatchery uses Jamesway Platinum 2.0 Single-Stage incubators and hatchers. The hatchery will supply 24 million premium quality day-old chicks per year from Hendrix Genetics. The site allows chicks to be delivered anywhere in the US within 24 hours of hatching.

Jamesway’s Platinum 2.0 has a removable ECU that allows the entire machine to be fully disinfected in minutes, making it the most biosecure machine on the market. Jamesway also supplied the HVAX systems and 30 P120 incubators and 18 P40 hatchers.
